🍜 Ramen Notes
Tenho is a long-standing ramen shop from Asahikawa, Hokkaido, serving locals and visitors in Roppongi for nearly 40 years.
Located right in front of Tokyo Midtown, it’s one of the area’s most beloved ramen destinations.
The noodles are firm and wavy, made by Nishiyama Seimen — one of Hokkaido’s most famous noodle makers. The broth is a soy-sauce base with pork bones as the main flavor foundation.
The soup is rich, bold, and quite salty — a strong, classic flavor that’s been loved by Japanese ramen fans for decades.

The shop’s famous “135” ramen refers to the original customization system:
1️⃣ noodle firmness
3️⃣ amount of oil
5️⃣ saltiness
Over time, this “135” combination became the standard bowl at Tenho.

In addition to signature Shoyu Ramen, the shop also offers Miso and Shio ramen.
Many locals recommend ordering a small bowl of rice on the side to balance out the salty soup. It would be perfectly satisfied👍👍👍
