🍜 Ramen Notes
Located on the basement floor in Shibuya PARCO restaurant zone, this shop offers a wide range of options — Shoyu, Shio, Tori Paitan, Spicy Miso, and even Vegan ramen. Among them, the dish that truly stands out is their Signature Wagyu Tori Paitan Ramen.
The broth is rich yet refreshing, blending creamy chicken umami with a surprisingly light finish. The thin noodles carry a gentle wheat aroma, perfectly matching the smooth soup. On top, you’ll find slices of Wagyu roast beef — thin yet incredibly juicy — along with crispy burdock chips, komatsuna, and menma. Altogether, it creates a bowl that feels refined, balanced, and highly satisfying. It’s the kind of flavor profile many foreign visitors love, which explains the steady queue at the entrance.
I also tried their Vegan Tantanmen, and it was very deep in flavor — far more complex than what you’d expect from a typical vegan dish. The nuttiness, spice, and richness all come together to create a proper, authentic tantanmen experience. (In the photo above, you’ll notice I topped mine with a flavored egg… not belonging to Vegan)
Around 80–90% of the customers are foreigners, and the staff handle service kindly in both Japanese and English. If you’re exploring the lively streets of Shibuya and need a break with great ramen, JIKASEI MENSHO is absolutely worth a stop.
